I leave for Iceland in 2 days, so I thought I’d share what I’m packing for the 9-Day Ring Road adventure. Everything has been consolidated into one 40L backpack (minus the clothes I’ll be traveling in). The weather is going to be cold and rainy, the terrain will be rocky, and the plane ride is around 7 hours.  Being a modern magellan means becoming an efficient and purposeful traveler. Here’s what’s in the pack:

All loaded up. Ready for exploration.

    1. I really like it. My previous pack was REI brand as well. They make great backpacks that are very durable and comfortable. This one is smaller, 40L, compared to my previous one of 55L. If you like to pack lightly for your trips, I recommend it.
