I made my way up to the mountains on Sunday to hike the Herman Gulch Trail.  I was accompanied by my girlfriend and my four-legged friend.  Situated just between Georgetown and Dillon in Colorado, the Herman Gulch Trail started steep and ended at a crystal clear lake.  Our trek was around 7 miles out and back, with blue skies and temperatures in the 60’s.  Boy I love lake hikes.  The pup didn’t hate the lake either.

I always love to see where the trees end.
