If you read this post, then you know I am a firm believer in always having the next adventure to look forward to. To update you all, I have a couple big trips planned in the next year. To start, follow me as I road trip through Iceland on the Ring Road in late October. I will be blogging the adventure each day as I make my way from town to town. In the coming weeks, I will be providing travel posts on how I planned for this trip, my itinerary, and some of the sights I will be seeing.
In January, I will be crossing the Atlantic Ocean (by plane) to backpack Spain and Morocco. On January 5th, I am heading to Barcelona, Spain and will be making my way down to Marrakesh, Morocco. And of course, more details of this trip to come.
In February, my girlfriend and I are going to the end of the world– Patagonia. This adventure is still in the works and we are trying to hammer down a proper timeline for it. We are going to do lots of trekking and camping, and hit both the Chilean and Argentinian sides of Patagonia. I would love suggestions!
Lastly, next summer is going to be a big one. I am planning a multi-month backpacking excursion through Asia. There will be lots of planning involved in this one, as I am going to cover a large amount of the continent. As a rough Idea, I am thinking of starting in Northern India and ending in South Korea.
Well folks, that is whats about to happen at The Modern Magellan. I can’t wait to share these adventures with you and I hope I can be a useful travel resource as well.
